Entry 4: Benefits and Dangers of Internet to Children

There are both benefits and dangers of Internet to children. In general, we live in modern and technological life, that’s why everything is connected with internet and it make people’s work easier than in the past. Besides that, it gave people a lot of opportunity to keep in touch with the world. However, we should not forget that the internet effected in bad way on some children’s behavior and health.

         Firs of all, they spend their much more time sitting in front of computers and not for useful things but for unnecessary things entering prohibited sites. In addition, some students have a tendency to enjoy perpetrating pranks. They may perceive the internet as an exciting forum for their escapades, and they may believe that they can get by with these pranks if they perceive that they are under minimal supervision in school.

For example, in one of the online newspapers is said that students entered the administration files at their high school, deleting information from records. Another event is that, children tampered with and damaged school software.

         However, on the other hand, Internet helps children on every site. For example, if they are in need of something, they just search it and can find everything that they want.

         In conclusion, I want to say that, in everything should have its limit. Because, the thing that is used unlimited can be harmful for you. And so, there is legitimate concern that children need to be protected from harm when they use the Internet.
